Welcome

It seems things always happen when you least expect them.  We WERE NOT looking for each other, AT ALL.  However, strange things happen when you're asked to send a text message.  Yes, my fiancee, a long time ago, asked if I could text her on her 25th birthday just to say Happy Birthday.  I didn't know her from the man in the moon.  We just worked together.  Yet, she knew my name and frequently stopped by my desk to say, "Hi Joe!"  Honestly, I didn't know what to make of this girl. It annoyed me that I didn't know her name but she was damn comfortable using mine.  She was persistent, she was a bit loud, and she had fire engine red hair with these beautiful blue eyes. (yeah, I started taking notice) Still, how in the hell did she know my name?  As it turned out, the birthday text was just a way for Amanda to get my cell phone number. Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky.  Needless to say, IT WORKED!  Six years later, we're getting married.  See, that's just how life happens sometimes.

Okay, so I am sure all of you know I am a little bit of a control freak.  When Joe and I started talking about marriage, I knew for him to propose he would have to work super hard to keep me from knowing or ruining it.  My parents and grand-parents took us to Disney World for my 29th birthday.  When Joe knew we were going that's when his wheels started to turn.  Joe had to get my parents and grand-parents in on the whole idea in order to keep me from knowing.  My parents scouted out proposal spots in June and we went in July.  Our first day was in the Magic Kingdom.  We saw Cinderella's fairy god-mother early in the day.  She asked me if Joe was my prince charming and of course I replied "YES"!  We went the whole day and was about to leave.  I was tired, hot, sweaty, and had no make-up on believe it or not.  As we were walking back towards the gate, Joe decided he wanted to take pictures in the Rose Garden in front of Cinderella's castle.  After taking pictures with my parents, we took pictures of just us together.  I tried to walk off because I was ready to go home.  At that moment, Joe made all my dreams of a fairytale proposal come true.  He proposed right there in front Cinderella's castle.  My ring was even in a swarovski crystal and gold pumpkin carriage.  Needless to say, the fairy god-mother granted me my wish on my 29th birthday.

Our Wedding is Friday, September 26, 2014.  It will take place at Magnolia Manor.  Ceremony will start at 6pm with cocktail hour and reception following at the same location.  This is an ADULT ONLY event.  Our wedding day definitely is a perfect mixture of our personalitites.  We are extremely excited to share our special day with each and everyone of you.  We hope you all enjoy and thank you for coming in advance.

See you all soon :)
